Friday Activity - Muhavaro ka Dumb Charades 
Classes VIII -IX
CHILDREN MUST BE TAUGHT HOW TO THINK, NOT WHAT TO THINK” Activity is something where the students participate rigorously and bring about effective learning experiences and with this child centric approach, we conducted an activity Muhavaro ka dumb charades for classes VIII-IX in school campus  on Friday. Dumb Charades generally is a lively and entertaining activity where the child is mentally and physically involved.In this process of learning with fun, they experienced, memorized and understood the concepts of idioms and recapitulated idioms in Hindi.In this game, participant team was given Idioms  in Hindi  to act it out without speaking to their respective team members within the stipulated time.This activity allowed the children to imagine,experience, build, investigate, explore, create,act and make use of their senses for learning. Sharing few glimpses of the same. 

We are all set for Diwali Celebrations. It is that time of the year when we see the festive colours and joyous faces all around. 
In the era of modern times, when technology helps the festival reach all corners of the world, what could be better than trying hands on and showing creativity through E-cards.
With this thought, E-card making activity for the scholarites of grade IV and V was conducted today where they have put their essential qualities on the computer for  making creative E-card on Canva. They displayed their inventiveness with great ardor by making E-card on topic 'Diwali' . Different tools in Canva like Elements, animations and layouts were used by the kids. They thoroughly enjoyed the lively class and had lots of fun.

With the indomitable spirt the students of class 6th and 7th participated in the inter club tennis match competition. 
An incredible view of unity and integrity was witnessed by all those who were present. 
Students not only showed the spirit of not giving up until the last serve but they also, exhibited a great talent of leadership. 
Even though, the winner was only one, the champions and leaders ended up being the runner-up. However, the sports man spirt was held high by all our clubs.

For a healthy mind there needs to be a healthy competition. A competition that teaches team spirt, discipline and leadership. 
To keep the young minds motivated and unwilted, scholars global organized inter club football competition between students of class 6th and 7th boys. The final match was between the two school clubs,  leaders and  champions, in which the leaders led the game by grabbing the first position and Victor's stood second on the stage.

The advance of technology is based on making it fit in so that you don't really even notice it , so, it's part of everyday life .

The workshop was attended by classes X , XI , XII held on 14-10-2022  on different techological advancements in today's modern day life . The workshop talked about internets of things (IOT) , Automation and Software Development life cycle . It talked about how a software is developed , tested and and circulated . It brought out the fact nbow in today's time techologies and used everywhere like in our homes , and workplaces we use Alexa , and smart home technology .

Students enjoyed the topic and gave various inputs .

Essay Writing Competition - Hindi

Scholars Global School always lays special emphasis on Co-curricular activities to provide students an edge over others to be a leader in their respective field of activity. In pursuit of the same, the girl students of the four clubs of  the school competed in a Basketball Match against each other. It was much awaited by all the participants. The girls stepped onto the court to set it ablaze with speed, endurance, magical footwork, dribble and much to the audience-excitement, a nail-biting finish. Leaders Club girls emerged triumphant after winning the First Position in the match and Champions Club  seized the Second Position in the same.

Congratulations to all the four clubs for a brilliant game with good team spirit.

Scholars Global School  witnessed good sportsmanship by all the players in Football Tournament which was the best part of the afternoon.The atmosphere was electric with the cheers of the students and the enthusiasm of the participants. All the teams tried to outshine each other on the field to show their mettle. And the First position was grabbed by Achievers Club and Second position was grabbed by Leaders.

Friday Activity -Waste Product Management  Classes VIII -IX
 
Creativity is making Marvelous Out of the Discarded!!! 

Recycling things is like magic that turns ordinary things into extraordinary. In order to make students aware of the uses of waste material and to give them a lesson on reducing waste to save our future ‘Waste Product Management’ activity was organised at SGS for the students of Classes VIII-IX. It explored and encouraged creativity in children and offered them a platform to showcase their skill. It also inspired children to think and work creatively and promote artistic excellence.Right from pista shells to ice-cream sticks, beads to old newspaper every waste material was used and the result was a hall full of useful goods made out of waste which was a treat to the eyes. It was a delight to see how scrap could be transformed into such useful and beautiful articles. This fun filled activity witnessed an enthusiastic participation of all the students. Sharing few glimpses of the same.

"Yoga is the artwork of awareness on the body,mind and soul"

Yoga is a great practice for both,the body and mind as it offers peace and mindfulness??‍???? to its lovers and helps them to get over through daily stress. Keeping this aim in mind, we at Scholars organised a Yoga competition for Grade II-III on 6th October,2022.
The students presented different Aasnas like Taddassnas Vriksshasna, Veerbhadraasnas and Surya Namasaskar etc. They were  judged on the basis of different parameters like Awareness, Posture, Accuracy, Flexibility and Time Duration.??‍????‍??.All children participated whole heartedly and the winners are-

Physical activity has been shown to stimulate chemicals in the brain that make you feel better. So playing sport regularly improves children's overall emotional wellbeing. Research shows there's a link between playing sport and self-esteem in children.

Sports and co-curricular activities are an integral part of Scholars School. Keeping this in our mind we organised " Lawn Tennis Competition for Girls" as a part of "Thursday Activity on 6th October, 2022" in which the little Lawn Tennis players of "Class IV-V" were thrilled and participated enthusiastically. They showed their calibre in the  Lawn Tennis Court and proved their passion for the sport and played well.

First Position was grabbed by Victors. Second was backed by Leaders.

To unfold the colours of creativity and making the art of science of asking questions the source of knowledge. A science workshop was conducted for Grade 4 & 5 on October 6th, 2022  wherein the students were shown a canva presentation related to science behind our day-to-day life. The presentation included the video making students understand about simple yet thought provoking experiential experiences like "Why do we touch elders' feet? Why does the chapati puff? Why can't we remove our hands if get an electric shock? and many more.
It was an enriching and eye opener experience for students. They enjoyed the workshop thoroughly.
