Street plays are a medium to express views with actions and a motive to explain something important. Keeping this in mind , a workshop on the same was organized for classes IV and V. The students were explained and familiarized with the concept of street-plays and Nukkad Natak and the purpose and importance of these plays. They also connected the concept to the nukkad natak performed by  students in school last session. The teachers presented two street plays on ‘Child labour’ and ‘Cleaniness Drive’, to make children understand the purpose of these plays, which is social issues. The children were able to connect with the topics and understood that we can bring a change in the society through nukkad natak. Overall, it was an entertaining day,full of learnings.
