Accountability is a part of humanity, and our actions have an impact on living things. The more knowledge we have, the better choices we make in our actions.

Earth is the only Blue planet where we can live in. First Earth Day was celebrated in 1970. Today ,193 Nations are celebrating Earth Day globally.

Students of class XII Science celebrated Earth Day through an exquisite Special Assembly under the theme Invest on Earth , staged a nukkad natak depicting the negligence of commoners towards Mother Earth , dire need of sustainable development, ban on plastics- polythene, afforestation to mitigate global warming and climate change. The whole ingenious script , enactment, pledges taken thereafter- all were praiseworthy. At the end , our esteem Principal ma'am, Mrs Poonam Saxena applauded the children and encouraged their efforts.

    Follwing Rules and being disciplined bridges the gap between goals and accomplishments.
    Students of SGS always adhere to the school rules, and to ensure students are always guided in the right direction, a workshop on importance of following school rules was conducted for students for class 6th and 7th. This workshop helped the students to understand the importance of abiding by the school rules and regulations and to ensure that the students have a safe and secure learning environment.
    Students were encouraged to be responsible and to always respect the school rules and regulations.
    The workshop was concluded with a pledge taken by students to always adhere to the school rules and regulations for their brighter future.

      Poster making on Earth Day/Saving Environment

      Take care of the earth and she will take care of you.

      Nature comprises of everything that surrounds us.The trees, forests, rivers, soil and air. To take care of this nature and its resources is integral. With an aim to make our Scholarites aware of the ways to preserve the each constituent of nature Care For Nature Week was celebrated for the primary students from 17-04-23 to 21-04-23 wherein the students of Grade 3 experienced various hands on learning activities from learning techniques to sow seeds, watering the plants, to weeding to make the surroundings green and clean.
      Grade 4 Students presented an assembly to share 3 R's and their importance to preserve Mother Earth and nature.
      The students of Grade 5 created beautiful and thought provoking posters and power point presentations showing their concern to save different components of the nature.

        Learning proper rules and etiquettes is a life skill.
        Rules are made to be followed to maintain decorum and decency in an institution.

        Keeping this thought in mind a workshop on School rules and etiquettes was organised for classes 2 & 3 in their respective classes..wherein the students were made aware about the
        Class rules
        Library rules
        playground rules
        Bus rules
        and more. They were also made to understand how essential these are for an individual's growth. The workshop was quite interactive where students participated actively and shared different rules and etiquettes as per their knowledge. To check their understanding and learning the workshop was followed by a worksheet on the same.

          *There is nothing like a little competition to make for perfection.* Keeping this in mind the Inter-House Terra Quiz Competition was organized for the students of grade 4&5 on 20th April 2023 as a part of Thursday activities.
          The competition was tough and the children held their nerve and contested keenly, which in turn kept the level of interest and excitement lifted.
          The students not only gained knowledge but also enjoyed answering the varied questions that were compiled for them. First position was bagged by Achievers. Leaders were declared runner ups.

            To embrace with the knowledge of cartography the activity of mapothan was conducted for classes Vlll and lX on 21 St day of April,

            It was a fantastic start to a great learning of the world through the Mapothan activity where with the help of an impressive power point presentation types of Maps,key pointers and national colour coding scheme for colouring the maps etc..was displayed. worksheet which included crossword of states , capitals , locating and labelling of state on map with Colors and glitters ,was given to the students at the end to assess their knowledge .

              Classroom Discipline Rules, Rewards and Consequences

              Awards and ceremonies are all an applause of discipline.

              For Friday Activity a Workshop was organised for students of classes 8 th and 9th on Classroom Discipline, Rules and Rewards and* consequences to promote a sense of responsibility among them. Through the workshop students understood the mandatory code of conduct and set of rules which need to be adhered to for desirable behavior. A detailed overview of classroom rules and norms were given using presentation, videos and discussion ! Students participated very actively .They were expounded about the rewards and Consequences and were motivated to abide by all rules.

                Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere.

                The goal of Scholars global school is to provide holistic education by balancing academics with extracurricular activites. The syllabus is designed to make learning less stressful for the students without compromising the quality.

                For *Friday Activity the first club meeting was held on 7 th April 2023 for classes 8th and 9 th ,where all the four club members i.e.Victors, *Leaders ,Champions and Achievers gathered on different venues inside the school promises.

                In the meeting Students \were introduced to their club teachers and were informed for their club competitions and activities that would be conducted in this whole session .Captains and vice captains were selected for the different clubs

                * Bifurcation of students into various groups like Maths, English, Sports,Cultural etc. according to their interests was done.

                Selection of Captains and vice captains of different houses were done .This activity is introduced to push the students out of their comfort zone and encourage them to socialise with people they are not very familiar with. This first meeting may seem awkward to them but they will soon form meaningful relationships and friends which is vital in the lives of adolescents.

                    Special Assembly on Mahavir Jayanti by XB
                    Mahavir Jayanti is one of the most auspicious festivals for the Jain community. It marks the birth anniversary of the 24th and the last Tirthankara (enlightened teacher) of the Jain religion. Jainism places great emphasis on achieving world peace and harmony in a manner that causes little to no harm to living beings. In order to commemorate the birth anniversary Of Mahavir Jain, Students of Class XB presented a special Assembly highlighting the Life story and enlightenment achieved by Mahavir Jain. Assembly showcased the information related to his life, a melodious song and dance praising Mahavir Jain, a life teaching skit and his principles. Students understood the reality and truth of life. The assembly was praiseworthy.

                          The tiny tots of KG and Grade 1 got a warm welcome. They were fascinated by the selfie corner.
